The time has come for us to discuss some ways to make money with yet another popular social network, LinkedIn. Many people tend to underestimate LinkedIn's reach and influence. Although it may not be the most popular social media network overall, LinkedIn is certainly the most popular professional networking platform, as it is the #1 platform for business professionals to find jobs, recruit job seekers, and offer B2B products and services. Take a look at the following stats which you may not have been aware of: > LinkedIn now has over 500 million members > Over 260 million LinkedIn users log in every single month > At least 40% of LinkedIn users log in daily > LinkedIn is the most used social media platform amongst Fortune 500 companies > LinkedIn has over 63 million unique mobile users monthly > LinkedIn is the #1 channel B2B marketers use to distribute content at 94% > There are over 9 billion content impressions in the LinkedIn feed weekly > LinkedIn is responsible for over 50% of all social traffic to B2B websites and blogs > 91% of marketing executives list LinkedIn as the top place to find content > LinkedIn has a perfect MOZ domain authority of 100 > 80% of B2B leads come from LinkedIn > LinkedIn generates 3X more conversions than Facebook and Twitter combined Obviously LinkedIn has some pretty incredible stats. If your smart, when you read statistics like the ones above, you don't just see stats, you see opportunity. LinkedIn's popularity and influence can be and is being leveraged by ambitious individuals to generate an income, so why not be one of those individuals? I'm now going to discuss some things that people are already successfully doing to make money through LinkedIn so that you have some ideas to help you find ways to monetize LinkedIn for yourself. 21 Proven ways to make money through LinkedInThe following activities are things that people are already successfully doing to earn money through LinkedIn, so you can make money doing these things also. Here we go. 1. Sell your own productsLinkedIn has a section specifically for posting and promoting products. Now, it is important to note that only certain types of products will get people's interest on LinkedIn. Keep in mind, that this is a professional networking platform, so you can't just promote any type of product on LinkedIn and expect to get results. However, if you have the right products, you can get outstanding results. The types of products that do well here are B2B products, information products, and any product meant for businesses or business professionals. 2. Offer B2B servicesLinkedIn also has a "services" section where you can list and promote your services at no cost. Once again, bare in mind that only certain types of services are going to attract interest on LinkedIn. If you offer business services, then by all means list them in LinkedIn's services section and you should get great results. 3. Affiliate marketingLinkedIn is a great place to post affiliate links if you have a decent sized network, and if you are posting links to B2B products or services. 4. For employers, a reliable and hard working job candidate that meets all of the employer's criteria is not easy to come by. LinkedIn account set up or revampingMost employers and job seekers understand the importance of having a great LinkedIn profile, however, many of them have no clue how to use LinkedIn. Build up & sell groupsI mentioned earlier that LinkedIn groups are sources of leads for many business owners. If you are able to build up a sizeable group centered around a particular topic, you can then sell that group to a relevant brand for a considerable amount of money. You can then turn around and offer your services as a group moderator to that same brand. 19. Offer paid reviewsThis falls into the same ballpark as influencer marketing. If you have a large following on LinkedIn, you can offer to do paid reviews for advertisers. If your following has the right demographics, advertisers will jump to pay you to review their product or service. 20. Professional profile photosNowadays, a person's LinkedIn profile is just as important as their resume, so it is important that their profile has a professional looking photo. Monetize your connectionsYou may have someone in your personal network that would be a valuable contact to have for certain people.
